By popular demand, we’ve added a universal adapter and hose kit designed to not only maximize the effectiveness of the HX system but also enhance the appearance of your 1.7L engine bay. When developing our Stage III Supercharger Cooling System, our goal was simple: improve efficiency by eliminating key restrictions and replacing components to increase volume and overall performance, all while using the OEM pump. While we saw great results with our Stage II system, which achieved a flow rate of 4.0 GPM, we knew there were still restrictions within the system. That’s when we focused on optimizing the restrictive crossover tube.
We wanted our kit to perform as well as it looked, so getting the right component combination was crucial. After testing various configurations, we landed on a universal kit that not only provides a more refined appearance but also increases HX coolant flow by 20%, bumping our test car’s flow rate to 5.1 GPM (a 54% increase from our baseline of 2.8 GPM), all while using the OEM pump.

Included in this package is the Ultra Lightweight ZPE Pulley Hub system, with an upper pulley size of your choice. This 10-bolt pulley and hub combo is precision-crafted from billet 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, which is stronger and harder than 6061 T6. We strongly suggest upgrading your cooling system while the blower is out of the car. Not only because you need to combat the heat generated by faster blower speeds and more power, but because alot of the labor needed to upgrade is already done with the coolant system bleed and blower out of the car. Cut-off wheel or large cable cutters in order to cut your braided lines to fit.

Although many people have had luck reusing the GM supercharger bolts, we strongly suggest you purchase a bolt and gasket set as an option below.

So how does this all work?
Once you place your order, it’s time to start removing your supercharger. If we are sending you the container, please wait a few days for it to arrive. If not, package carefully and remove all sensors, gaskets, intercooler bricks, and throttle body before cleaning and boxing up.
Once Kong receives your blower, turn around time is typically only 3-5 days. While you are waiting for your X-ported blower, you will be receiving the rest of your goodies. (note: some of the other items may ship direct from the manufacture)

A little about the Universal crossover delete kit…
By popular demand, we’ve added a universal adapter and hose kit designed to not only maximize the effectiveness of the HX system but also enhance the appearance of your 1.7L engine bay. When developing our Stage III Supercharger Cooling System, our goal was simple: improve efficiency by eliminating key restrictions and replacing components to increase volume and overall performance, all while using the OEM pump. While we saw great results with our Stage II system, which achieved a flow rate of 4.0 GPM, we knew there were still restrictions within the system. That’s when we focused on optimizing the restrictive crossover tube.
We wanted our kit to perform as well as it looked, so getting the right component combination was crucial. After testing various configurations, we landed on a universal kit that not only provides a more refined appearance but also increases HX coolant flow by 20%, bumping our test car’s flow rate to 5.1 GPM (a 54% increase from our baseline of 2.8 GPM), all while using the OEM pump.

Universal kit is set up and ready for you to mesh with your current set up. All you need is the mating fitting from the -12AN feeder on the Y-block to your specific hose sizes, and the -10AN fittings to connect to the braided line (note we left these out of the kit because the fitting needs should be selected after the placement of the Y-blocks is determined. Although we suggest 3/4” hose for best efficiency you can also reduce this down to the factory 5/8” line if desired.

A little about the Griptec Hub & Pulley…
Included in this package is the Ultra Lightweight ZPE Pulley Hub system, with an upper pulley size of your choice. This 10-bolt pulley and hub combo is precision-crafted from billet 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, which is stronger and harder than 6061 T6. To support the increased power from your Kong X-Port, the ZPE pulley is treated with proprietary GripTec micro-machining technology, which maximizes grip force on the belt without damaging it, ensuring maximum performance and preventing belt slip.
A little about the DMS lid…
We all know arriving fashionably late to the party comes with risks, but in the world of aftermarket performance parts, that’s not always a bad thing. In fact, it can be the perfect opportunity to step back, observe the competition—what works, what doesn’t—and then innovate where others fall short. And that’s exactly what Matt and the team at DMS did with this stunning blend of engineering and ingenuity.
Let’s face it: Many of the current options for the LT4 lid are… lackluster, at best. Too often, aftermarket solutions are either overly simplistic or downright unattractive, with little to no measurable performance gains. All relevant client feedback that DMS took into account, knowing they could do better.
Instead of aiming low and breaking the lowest price barrier, they aimed high, and set their sights on breaking the mold. The mission? To create a lid with one clear goal: optimized airflow. That’s where Verus Engineering’s genius came into play.
With all of the knowledge and high tech equipment on hand, Verus’s airflow simulations quickly revealed that if this lid was going to outperform the competition, it needed more than just a tweak here and there—it needed an entirely unique, sculpted design that catered to the needs of airflow dynamics, not one that catered to being simple and flat. The lid needed a design that would only be possible with an upgraded process and equipment. And so, they cut Verus loose to utilize their amazing $650K DMG Mori 5-axis CNC machine to bring this vision to life. The result? A complex, yet beautiful shape designed to channel and balance nearly perfect airflow into each intake runner, providing smoother air distribution.
What you will quickly notice once you receive your LID is the extra height. Nearly 1/2” taller than the leading competition which results in approximately 25% more plenum volume which provided Verus the space needed to create that elegant curved profile. For those of you with port-plates, I tested hood clearance using my GMS High Flow Hood Bracket and I still had 1.2” of clearance.
While many competitors take the easy route, using flat designs cut on simpler 3-axis machines to keep costs low, the DMS lid takes a more refined approach. It’s crafted from a solid 70lb piece of 6061 aluminum bar stock, meticulously machined on a state-of-the-art, 5-axis CNC machine, demanding more time, more material, and, of course, more performance. The payoff? A stronger, larger, and higher-performing part that adds just the right amount of supercharger whine, while delivering an eye-catching, show stopping design like nothing else on the market. This lid was designed for those who want to stand out from the crowd by putting the very best on there car.

A little about the Raceflux Fittings.
RaceFlux's aluminum AN fittings were designed specifically for use in motor sports where maximum fluid flow and reliability are paramount. The fittings are reusable and their black anodized finish offers a fresh, stealthier look over traditional red and blue fittings.
The low-profile design allows for additional clearance in vehicles where where spaced is limited.

A little about Raceflux Braided Hose.
RaceFlux's RH1 lightweight racing hose is 33% lighter than stainless braided hose and much easier to assemble and work with. This 4-layer hose is SAE J30 R9 rated and features a Viton Fluoroelastomer (FKM) inner layer for compatibility with nearly all automotive fluids including fuel, engine oil, gear oil, transmission fluid, coolants, water, air and vacuum.

What YOU will need to provide:
Patience and attention to detail for installation... or, someone like that, who you trust with your beloved, adorned, magnificent, earth shaking, alarm sounding LT4 powered beast! Also, because the superchargers are alot heavier than some imagine, we suggest three sets of hands to be safe.
We strongly suggest upgrading your cooling system while the blower is out of the car. Not only because you need to combat the heat generated by faster blower speeds and more power, but because alot of the labor needed to upgrade is already done with the coolant system bleed and blower out of the car. Cut-off wheel or large cable cutters in order to cut your braided lines to fit.
Additional connectors, hoses and fittings will be needed depending on your existing system design or preferred routing path. Remember this coolant manifold delete solution is intended to be a universal kit. Email me if you have any other needs or questions about path design.
Although many people have had luck reusing the GM supercharger bolts, we strongly suggest you purchase a bolt and gasket set as an option below.
Auxiliary reservoir with pressure cap for HX system filling and burping. We are working on our own design, but for now we like THIS ONE and THIS ONE.
You will need a new supercharger belt depending on your lower pulley set up. Email us if you need help selecting a belt size. We suggest Gates HD Green Belts.

If your build requires more fuel, email us for a special discount code on larger injectors. This is an inexpensive time to upgrade them while the blower is off.
So how does this all work?
Once you place your order, it’s time to start removing your supercharger. If we are sending you the container, please wait a few days for it to arrive. If not, package carefully and remove all sensors, gaskets, intercooler bricks, and throttle body before cleaning and boxing up.
Once Kong receives your blower, turn around time is typically only 3-5 days. While you are waiting for your X-ported blower, you will be receiving the rest of your goodies. (note: some of the other items may ship direct from the manufacture)
